We're back!!! Sorry for the lack of posts- it's been busy with finals, and AW has been drunk a lot lately, and keeps forgetting to post her recipes. But we've been going strong with the taco bell sauce, and our commitment to furthering public knowledge of how good these sauces are has never wavered!
Here's a great recipe that's super easy, and tastes awesome-mostly because of the taco bell sauce :)
Rice'n'Beans...chihuahua style
You will need:
Rice
Canned black beans (preferably in seasoned sauce)
Salsa
Onion (optional)
Garlic paste (optional)
Taco Bell sauce of choice
Make the rice. Should be easy enough. Basically boil twice as much water as you have rice, then add the rice and turn the heat low with the lid covered. Just don't burn it!
Add a little bit of oil to a pan, and heat on high. Add diced onions and a little garlic paste, and sautee for a few minutes until the onions are translucent.
Add 1 can of black beans -don't bother draining it or anything, especially if you got the seasoned kind! Add two tablespoons of salsa, and stir occasionally on high heat, until it's the consistency you want. Then add in the taco bell sauce- you'll need a lot because the beans cancel out the spiciness, but it's so worth it!
Definitely try this one- you can add cheese to it too, and it tastes great. It's so easy, and fills you up!
